DESCRIPTION
Our tennis shoulder training programme is specifically designed for tennis players and other racket sports players who have a painful mobile shoulder that's limiting their ability to play their best; having to modify how they play, avoiding certain shots or game play completely.
If you play regularly and want to build strength so you can train, play and compete without pain and break the recurring injury cycle, this programme is for you.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
- A structured 6-week gym-based programme with 3 sessions per week, each one approximately 45-60 minutes in duration.
-
Pre-match shoulder prep sessions which you can do ahead of training or a game.
Block One: Motor Control and Endurance
We focus on motor control and endurance - building the foundations for stronger, more resilient shoulders. You’ll refine movement patterns, improve muscular endurance, and develop greater control through key positions.
Block Two: Strength and Dynamic Movement
With a solid foundation in place, the second block focuses on heavier loads, strength development, and dynamic movements. You’ll take on more complex exercises that challenge your ability to generate and control force at higher intensities and in tougher positions, giving your shoulder greater movement options.
IS THIS FOR PROGRAMME RIGHT FOR YOU?
This program is designed for athletic individuals who want to:
- Get out of pain without stopping training completely.
- Regain strength and control in their shoulder so they can train, play and compete with confidence.
- Break the cycle of recurring injuries and stop modifying sessions and game play just to avoid pain.
- Rebuild long-term shoulder resilience, not just find a short-term fix.
