At Dynamic Shoulders, we work as an integrated shoulder physiotherapy and strength and conditioning team to build true strength.
We start with the end goal in mind. Using our Shoulder Reconditioning Methodology, we reverse-engineer the desired outcome into a focused plan that restores strength, capacity, and long-term resilience.
It's more than rehab, it's an outcome-driven reconditioning approach built on clinical reasoning, diagnostic testing, progressive programming and expert coaching.

Shoulder reconditioning is a relatively new term and you might be wondering what it is and how it's different to rehabilitation.
Imagine standing at the edge of the cliff.
The bottom of the cliff is where you might be if you're in an injured state, post shoulder surgery or in significant pain which means you're unable to train and live an active life.
To get you to the top of the cliff, you'll work with a shoulder physiotherapist and cover foundation rehabilitation. This might mean that you're pain-free and able to do normal daily activities.
With shoulder reconditioning, we combine shoulder physiotherapy and strength and conditioning, to move you further away from the cliff edge and stop the recurring cycle of shoulder injuries with strength that lasts so you have the freedom to live, train and compete.

This is our five-step system to rebuild strong, trustworthy shoulders for people who want to live an active and athletic life.

FIND THE ROOT CAUSE
We work out what is driving your shoulder problem by building a detailed understanding of your shoulder injury history, training background and what success looks like. The focus is to get clear on how we go from where you are to where you want to be.

RESTORE CONFIDENCE
We support you to trust your shoulder again by restoring the foundations of mobility, control and strength. Essentially, creating a stronger base allowing you to move with less pain and more control.

REBUILD STRENGTH
We provide structured and progressive programming that prepares your shoulder for the demands you want to place upon them. The aim is to not only return to training/sport but to stay there long-term, feeling confident, robust and strong.

MOVE IN MORE WAYS
You'll develop athleticism, enhance your physical literacy expanding your movement options so your shoulder can move the way it is designed to move.

Education stops the repeat-injury cycle and builds self-efficacy. People should not be reliant on constant rehab.
